Job summary

Whitmore Manufacturing, LLC is seeking a Process Engineer at our Rockwall, TX site to analyze and optimize manufacturing processes, drive cost reductions, and ensure product quality. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead capital projects, and implement safety and environmental standards to improve efficiency and reliability.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering, 1–5 years of experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Excel;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or mechanical engineering.
• 1–5 years of experience as a process engineer in industrial/manufacturing settings preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with process simulation tools and statistical analysis methods.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Continuous improvement mindset and commitment to quality.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; 2D AutoCAD a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality improvements.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize existing processes and workflows.
• Conduct in-depth technical analysis of process data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and industry standards.
• Work with QA teams to ensure processes meet or exceed product quality specs.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures to monitor and maintain high standards.
• Identify, develop, and lead capital projects; manage contractors.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Identify potential safety hazards and conduct cost analyses related to changes.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining quality.
• Maintain documentation of processes, changes, and improvements.
• Provide training and support to production teams on new processes.
