Job summary

Whitmore Manufacturing, a division of CSW Industrials, Inc., seeks a Process Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes, drive cost reductions, and lead capital projects. You will analyze data, develop improvements, and collaborate with QA and operations to ensure product quality and safety standards are met.

The role focuses on cross-functional teamwork, process optimization, and training production staff on new processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering.
• 1–5 years of process engineering experience in industry or manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with process simulation tools and statistical methods.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental standards.
• Continuous improvement mindset and commitment to quality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint; 2D AutoCAD a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify efficiency, cost, and quality improvements.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize processes and workflows.
• Conduct technical analysis of process data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to adopt best practices and standards.
• Ensure processes meet or exceed product quality specifications with QA.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures.
• Plan and manage capital projects; lead contractors as needed.
• Ensure safety regulations and environmental standards are followed.
• Perform cost analyses related to process changes and improvements.
• Maintain documentation of processes and improvements; provide training.
• Troubleshoot process issues with operators and technicians.
• Explore initiatives to minimize environmental impact.
