Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking an experienced Process Engineer - Operations & Continuous Improvement to drive process optimisation across repair, manufacturing, and testing functions.

You will link Engineering, Operations, Quality, Purchasing, and Sales to identify opportunities, implement sustainable improvements, and support strategic projects that elevate safety, quality, productivity, and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Process or related engineering field.
• Minimum of five years in process/manufacturing/industrial engineering or continuous improvement.
• Proven experience improving operational, manufacturing, repair, or service processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing repair, manufacturing, testing, and operational processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance safety, quality, throughput, and operational effectiveness.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop standardised work instructions, process documentation, and best practices.
• Monitor operational KPIs and identify trends impacting performance.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality, process, and production issues.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to improve repair methods and testing processes.
• Drive capacity planning, resource optimisation, and inventory controls.
