Job summary

Integrated Power Services, LLC. is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the site’s workforce and drive continuous improvement across production, quality and safety.

You will oversee supervisors, technicians, and equipment to meet daily and long-term goals in a circuit breaker and switchgear repair environment. The role emphasizes collaboration with the AGM and management team to implement policies and procedures, while developing a strong safety culture and a One IPS mindset among employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology or Manufacturing Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction by managing the deployment of the operational framework at JPS.
• Lead and/or support Continuous Improvement Process Solution (CIPS), including customer satisfaction, quality, safety, productivity and employee relations in a Circuit Breaker and Switchgear repair facility.
• Manage supervisors, leads, technicians, equipment, and materials to achieve daily and long-term production goals.
• This is a highly visible, high impact position with a decisive role in future success and growth of the organization.
• Direct hourly workers to work safely and participate in safety audits, training, and housekeeping.
• Foster One IPS culture, listen to the workforce, and drive teamwork and accountability.
• Communicate effectively to keep the team focused on customer and continuous improvement.
• Plan and coordinate hourly labor to support production schedules and overtime/vacations.
• Develop and evaluate project-specific work plans and customer reporting requirements.
• Coordinate customer job inspections to ensure work meets schedule and specifications.
• Lead development of the Quality Program with documentation and process standards.
