Avery Dennison is seeking a Process Engineer for our Mentor, OH facility to support daily manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement in coating and compounding assets. You will work with site leadership and cross-functional teams to optimize performance and deliver sustainable safety, quality, productivity, and cost improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering and 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with SPC, DOE, FMEA, and MSE.
• Six Sigma exposure or Green Belt/Black Belt preferred.
• Hands-on experience in web handling, PSA coating, or 24/7 operations preferred.
• Strong communication and ability to influence across all levels; on-call flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day product and process operations for coating and compounding assets in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Act as a technical partner to site leadership and cross-functional teams to optimize product performance.
• Identify, investigate, and analyze production issues using Six Sigma methodologies and SPC.
• Improve current product lines and processes by reducing variation and conducting capability studies.
• Lead capital projects and site CI initiatives, establishing sustainment control strategies and training.
