Job summary

The Mosaic Company is seeking an Applied Process Technology (APT) Engineer Co-Op/Intern for Spring 2027 at the FishHawk site in Lithia, FL, with travel to other Florida sites as needed. This full-time internship supports innovation in chemical processing, pilot plant design, and new technology development.

Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor's in Chemical, Mechanical, Mining or Industrial Engineering with a 2.75+ GPA, able to work 36–40 hours weekly, and capable of obtaining work

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Mining or Industrial Engineering.
GPA of 2.75 or higher required.
Able to work full time as a student in good standing during the co-op/internship.

Responsibilities

Lead innovative engineering projects across Mosaic concentrate and mining processes.
Complete feasibility studies on new technology for step-change improvements.
Engage with operations, engineering and other groups to share learnings and build networks.
Participate in and direct research activities in lab and full-scale operations.
Communicate with managers, operators, engineers, trades, and contractors.
