The Mosaic Company invites applications for a Spring 2027 Process Engineer Co-Op/Intern at the Four Corners site in Bradley, FL, with regular travel to other Florida sites. Housing and relocation can be provided for qualified candidates.

As a student in Chemical, Mechanical or Mining Engineering, you will support major projects, help improve facility efficiency and final product quality, and gain hands-on experience in a global leader's environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Mining Engineering.
• Minimum 2.75 GPA.
• Industrial environment experience or internships preferred.
• Ability to travel to multiple site locations in Florida.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project work focused on improving facility efficiency and product quality.
• Support equipment efficiency tests and develop process flow diagrams.
• Perform mass and energy balances for chemical processes.
• Contribute to computer modeling and analyses.
• Assist with inspections and turnarounds as needed.

Process Engineer Co-Op/Intern - Spring 2027

Where will you work:

Four Corners site at 11200 R 37 South. Bradley, FL with regular traveling to other FL sites. Housing and relocation can be provided for qualified candidates.

A Process Engineer Co-Op/Intern at Mosaic will be assigned to special projects and will assist other engineers on major projects and process engineering. Projects will focus on improving facility efficiency and final product quality. January 11 to April 23, 2027

Full time Co-Op/Internship. Typically, 36-40 hours a week.

In person or remote. 9/80 schedule if applicable.

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshooting to identify root cause of problems
• Tracing of pipes and equipment in the field to correlate with the existing drawing
• Assisting with equipment efficiency tests and developing a process flow diagram for a new opportunity
• Mass and energy balances for various types of chemical processes
• Computer modeling
• Assist Turnaround and Repair Day equipment inspections as required
• Communicate with various levels of personnel throughout the organization, including management, plant operators, engineers (of various disciplines), tradespersons, and contractors.
• Participation in department meetings and meetings specific to the project assignment.
• Adhering to Mosaic’s mission, guiding principles and priorities, and key competencies.

What You’ll Need

• Junior level or above by January 2027 pursuing a bachelor's in Chemical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer and/or Mining Engineer.
• 2.75 GPA or higher
• Ability to function in an industrial chemical and mining environment.
• 1-2 years of experience volunteering, working with student/school organizations, or work is preferred.
• Previous internship or co-op experience is preferred.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license - You will need to be able to travel to and from sites and/or office.
• Ability to work full timeand be a student in standing at the time of the co-op/internship
• Selected candidates will be required to successfully complete post-offer/pre-placementdrug and alcohol screening, background check, physical, functional capacity examination.
• Basic computer skills are required
• Experience working in a team environment is a must
• Familiarity with an industrial environment is highly desirable
• Effective verbal communication skills is a plus
• Physical work environment is occasionally outdoors with exposure to varying degrees of hot and cold environments
