Job summary

Service Wire Company in Culloden, WV is seeking a Process Engineer to develop manufacturing processes aligned with product specs and quality standards. You will lead CI events and participate in the company-wide CI program to improve quality, methods, and controls.

The role requires evaluating processes, improving capability and production volume, and collaborating with design and maintenance teams to create cost-effective production systems. In-person attendance is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering preferred.
• 3+ years Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills to include Excel.
• Proven detail attentiveness, organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent math and measuring skills.
• Strong verbal/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and improve processes in manufacturing systems.
• Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards.
• Champion the continuous improvement (CI) process and lead CI events.
• Develop studies to improve product quality.
• Prepare reports for quality systems and status meetings.
• Collect samples and analyze data to develop improved processing methods.
• Develop and implement systems that optimize all phases of production process.
• Work with equipment designers and manufacturing officers to develop cost-effective production processes.
• Perform root cause analysis on nonconforming products and implement improvements.
• Assist Quality to maintain UL, ISO, QCS certifications.
• Support sales staff with technical information.
• Additional duties as assigned by manager.
