Job summary

RSCC Wire & Cable LLC, part of Marmon Holdings, located in East Granby, CT, is seeking a Process Engineer to improve manufacturing processes, introduce new equipment, and drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, and efficiency. This role partners with cross-functional teams to optimize production in a wire and cable environment.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, at least five years in a similar role, strong problem-solving and project management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of five years in Manufacturing/Process/Production Engineering within wire and cable manufacturing.
• Experience implementing safety and ergonomic improvement programs.
• Demonstrated project management experience; PM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement new equipment and processes to support growth.
• Develop and justify CAPEX projects, including RFQ and vendor evaluations.
• Lead cost reduction, downtime reduction, and process optimization efforts.
• Train supervisors and operators on new equipment and procedures.
• Audit manufacturing and quality control procedures and recommend improvements.
• Drive scrap reduction and material utilization improvements.
