Job summary

Service Wire Company in Culloden, WV is seeking a Process Engineer to develop manufacturing processes aligned with product specs and quality standards. You will lead Continuous Improvement initiatives, analyze processes, and implement revisions to improve quality, methods, and controls.

The role requires a bachelor's in engineering, 3+ years manufacturing experience, strong math and communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Travel is <20% to other facilities; PPE required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering preferred.
• 3+ years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong math and measurement skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and improve processes in manufacturing systems.
• Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining quality.
• Lead CI events and participate in a continuous improvement program.
• Develop studies to improve product quality.
• Prepare reports for quality systems and status meetings.
• Collect samples and analyze data to develop improved methods.
• Develop and implement systems that optimize all phases of production processes.
• Work with designers and maintenance to develop cost-effective production processes.
• Perform root-cause analysis on nonconforming product and implement improvements.
• Assist Quality to maintain UL, ISO, QCS certifications.
• Support sales staff with technical information.
• Additional duties as assigned by manager.
