ADM's Hutchinson, KS plant is seeking a Process Engineer to lead capital projects and optimize processes using historical data and CI methods. You will collaborate with operations, maintenance, EHS and QFS to drive improvements from scope development through start-up, working with plant leadership and Performance Excellence teams.

Responsibilities include project management, safety oversight of contractors, SOP development, data driven downtime analysis, and supporting plant KPI goals for

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering preferred or minimum 5 years’ experience in a relevant manufacturing position.
• 1+ years of food plant manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety.
• An understanding of Quality and Food Safety.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead projects and collaborate with multiple functions.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to work in hot, cold, or dusty environments.

Responsabilités

• Oversee capital projects including scope development, funding, equipment specification and installation, and startup.
• Provide training for contractors and oversee safety permits and risk assessments.
• Utilize Management of Change (MOC) processes as required.
• Lead or participate in troubleshooting to meet plant KPI goals in safety, quality, and operations.
• Identify improvement opportunities and drive CI initiatives for safety, quality, cost, yield and reliability.
• Be a champion for plant safety, quality and operations as part of the leadership team.
• Manage downtime data collection and prioritize improvement initiatives.
• Develop/update SOPs and train colleagues; assist with operations relief.
• Additional duties as assigned by manager.
