Job summary

Allied Reliability is seeking a Process Engineer to improve site performance by driving capital projects and process improvements across the plant. You will manage initiatives from concept through startup, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure data-driven decisions using PM processes and Lean Six Sigma methods.

You bring 3–5 years of manufacturing engineering experience, a relevant engineering degree, and a working knowledge of P&ID, FMEA, and GMP environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical preferred).
  • 3–5 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
  • GMP/food environment experience desirable but not required.
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage capital and IP projects from concept to startup, including funding approval, design, construction, and startup.
  • Lead or assist teams to implement plant improvements per PM processes and monitor effects.
  • Collect and control process data to keep operations within spec and adjust as needed.
  • Identify and resolve issues during production, including equipment malfunctions and deviations.
  • Create/update P&IDs and participate in PSAs, HAZOPs, and FMEA.
  • Lead projects to meet objectives within budget and timing using PM and Lean Six Sigma.
