Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Process Engineering and Chemical Engineering.
• Experience in semiconductor or advanced materials processing.
• Experience in Process Design and Process Control.
• 2–5 years industrial experience with thin-film deposition, etching, or related wafer fabrication techniques.
• BS or MS in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Hands-on with equipment and documenting results in a structured manner.
• Effective cross-functional communication with R&D, operations, and external partners.
• Ability to work on-site full-time in San Jose, CA.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize semiconductor process flows for advanced 2D materials and chip architectures.
• Define process recipes, monitor performance, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with materials scientists, device engineers, and manufacturing teams on pilot and production environments.
• Document procedures and maintain process control systems to ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards.
