Job summary

Henkel's Consumer Brands unit seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to drive problem solving and reduce losses on the production floor. You will lead workshops, define equipment standards, and partner with training to close capability gaps.

The role emphasizes hands-on floor work (about 80%), deployment of digital manufacturing technologies, and contributing to continuous improvement across processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management or related field.
  • 1-3 yrs experience in a Manufacturing environment.
  • Lean, Six Sigma certifications and experience with Digital Manufacturing technologies deployment in operations.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prioritize and eliminate process losses.
  • Lead and build the capability of Problem Solving (Lead Problem Solving Workshops)
  • Define and improve equipment standards via Problem Solving (CL, CILT, DH, TBM)
  • Work with training manager to close capability gaps of the Operators ensuring the team can execute the improved equipment standards
  • Work with line management to prioritize improvement opportunities (top losses).
  • Design, implement and maintain systems to collect and analyze data for critical product and process parameters
  • Regular monitoring of the area regarding centerline, defects and standards & development of improvement plans
  • Become a technical expert for a designated process
  • Spend 80% of time on the floor (mainly) working on Problem Solving to kill stops

What you´ll do

The salary rangefor this role is $70,000.00 and $90,000.00. This range represents the good‑faith minimumand maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at thetime of posting.In addition to base salary, this position may be eligiblefor incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. TheCompany also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actualcompensation will be based on factors such as the candidate’s skills,experience, education, training, and work location.
