Job summary

Zekelman Industries is seeking a Process Engineer to drive operational excellence in our manufacturing operations. You will collaborate with manufacturing, maintenance, and engineering teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement innovations that enhance safety, efficiency and performance.

The role requires hands-on engineering expertise, strong problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused mindset in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical and electro-technical drawings.
  • Experience collaborating with operations and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop best practices and solutions to improve production rates and quality.
  • Implement process design practices from concept through start-up and validation.
  • Plan, manage, and execute project schedules efficiently.
  • Justify and monitor CapEx projects and analyze operational data.
  • Create and improve process documentation and SOPs.
  • Support equipment assessments and occasional travel to other facilities.
