Experience: Mid Level
Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 per year
Responsibilities:
- Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start-up and certification.
- Assess processes for their relevance, and assess the adequacy of engineering equipment.
- Review and improve on existing systems, making use of process improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to ensure the safety of the workforce.
- Design, run, test, and upgrade systems and processes.
- Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
- Perform process simulations and troubleshooting.
- Provide process documentation and operating instructions.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the company's goals and objectives are met.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in manufacturing safety and risk assessments.
- Proficient in Process Optimization, Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen principles.
- Excellent technical skills, including proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to anticipate potential problems before they occur.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements.
