You will collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing to drive continuous improvement and ensure conformance to customer specs.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering and at least seven years in aerospace, with strong GD&T, blueprint reading, and CAD skills (Siemens NX or AutoCAD).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum seven years of aerospace engineering experience.
  • Proficient in interpreting blueprints and GD&T.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and document manufacturing processes from drawings to meet requirements.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing on process improvements.
  • Manage products through lifecycle from PO receipt to shipment.
  • Create BOMs, routings, operation sheets and tooling needs.
  • Provide production support during development and manufacturing phases.
  • Support updates to existing products and processes and ensure quality compliance.
  • Communicate technical information with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with program management activities and customer support.
  • Adhere to quality system requirements and procedures.

A growing aerospace manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Aerospace Process Engineer to support product development and production activities. This role is responsible for developing manufacturing processes, providing technical support throughout the product lifecycle, and collaborating with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

This role is responsible for developing manufacturing processes, providing technical support throughout the product lifecycle, and collaborating with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and document manufacturing processes based on customer-supplied drawings and specifications to ensure products meet blueprint, quality, and customer requirements.
  • Partner with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to identify process improvement opportunities and implement effective engineering solutions.
  • Manage products throughout the entire lifecycle, from purchase order receipt through final shipment.
  • Create and maintain bills of materials (BOMs), manufacturing routings, operation sheets, and tooling requirements.
  • Provide technical support to production teams during development and manufacturing phases while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Support maintenance and updates to existing products and processes as needed.
  • Communicate technical information effectively with internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Assist with program management activities and customer support.
  • Adhere to all applicable quality management system requirements and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant aerospace engineering experience.
Required Skills
  • Strong proficiency in blueprint reading, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and specification interpretation.
  • Experience with either Siemens NX (3D CAD) or AutoCAD.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Skills
  • Tool design experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with PPAP or other product introduction and production launch processes.
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems.
Pay range and compensation package

$100,000+.
