Job summary

Shurtape Technologies, LLC seeks a process engineer to support manufacturing efficiency and safety across production lines. You will analyze processes, train operators, coordinate teams, and drive continuous improvement with data‑driven methods in a hybrid work environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of process engineering experience, strong technical drawing skills, and a collaborative mindset to optimize cost and quality across multiple stages of production.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent manufacturing experience.
  • 3–5 years experience in process engineering.
  • Ability to read technical drawings; strong math skills.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze processes, equipment, and materials to determine efficient manufacturing methods and process improvements.
  • Monitor processes for continuous improvements and/or modifications.
  • Coordinate activities of support personnel and manufacturing to resolve process problems.
  • Assist in training operators on process awareness, monitoring and control.
  • Provide process data as required for standard or experimental products.
  • Research equipment to source cost-effective, flexible and efficient solutions.
  • Analyze material flow to optimize movement and traceability.
  • Assist R&D project leaders during experimental trials.
  • Collaborate with IO, OQ, PQ and validation teams.

Other duties may be assigned.Analyze processes, equipment, materials to determine efficient manufacturing methods and process improvementsMonitor processes on a continual basis for continuing improvements and/or modificationsCoordinate activities of support personnel and manufacturing to resolve process problemsAssist in training operators on process awareness, monitoring and controlProvide process data as recommended for standard or experimental productsResearch equipment to source the most appropriate solutions by focusing on cost, flexibility and efficiencyAnalyze material flow to develop an efficient method for moving materials through the process efficiently while maintaining constant traceabilityAssist R&D project leaders during experimental trialsParticipate on development team to bring new part concepts to productionBuild and maintain user requirement checklists for new equipmentActively collaborate with the IO, OQ, PQ and validation teamsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
