CoorsTek is seeking a Process Engineer to partner with engineering, manufacturing and staff to boost manufacturing capability, yield, and productivity. You will engage in problem solving for complex processes and support technology transfers to meet production needs.

Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years in relevant engineering, strong analytical and communication skills, and familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methods. Safe operations and cross‑functional teamwork are essential.

It's exciting to work for a company that makes the world measurably better.We're committed to bringing safety, quality, and customer focus to the business of advanced ceramics manufacturing.Job TitleProcess EngineerThe Process Engineer is responsible for collaborating with engineering, manufacturing and other staff within a plant to understand and increase manufacturing capabilities, increase yields, improve process flow, increase productivity and maximize work force utilization.Emphasis on Lean Six Sigma (Lean, Theory of Constraints, TQM, SPC, TPM, 6S, Kaizen)Roles & Responsibilities:Involved in problem solving activities for complex issues that involve the given process and associated equipment.Aids in technology transfers to meet production requirements.Demonstrate ability to execute on mid-size projects. Documentation, training and guiding plant engineering and manufacturing team members.Collaborates with location manufacturing management to deliver yield and process improvements at their location.Maintain, analyze and improve various types of equipment, including electronic and mechanical equipment to improve efficiency and utilization of resources.Utilizes Structured Problem Solving (SPS), Process Control System (PCS), and Design for Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA) to resolve complex methodologies and reduce future variation.Actively develops expertise in Lean Six Sigma and process methodologies through hands-on training, practical application in projects, and guidance from project leaders or senior-level colleagues.Software knowledge: MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required.
