Job summary

The role requires a strong engineering background, 5+ years in process engineering, and proficiency with process simulations and CAD software. Excellent communication and collaborative skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical)
• Minimum of 5 years in process engineering, preferably in manufacturing
• Experience with process simulations and process engineering software
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations

• Advanced knowledge of production machinery and quality control

Job Details

We are currently seeking a dynamic, innovative, and experienced Permanent Process Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing industrial processes to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability, and maximize profitability. This role is perfect for a strategic thinker with a knack for problem-solving and a passion for industrial engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Developing, configuring, and optimizing industrial processes from inception through to start-up and certification.
• Assessing processes, taking measurements, and interpreting data.
• Designing, running, testing, and upgrading systems and processes.
• Developing best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
• Performing process simulations and troubleshooting issues.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to implement improvements and monitor outcomes.
• Ensuring that all processes comply with safety and environmental regulations.
• Establishing process KPIs and conduct performance analysis.
• Providing process documentation and operating instructions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven work experience in process simulations and knowledge of process engineering software packages.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
• Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills.
• Advanced knowledge of production machinery, processes, and quality control techniques.
• Proficient in MS Office and CAD software.
• Excellent technical skills and understanding of scientific principles.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
