We are currently seeking an experienced Permanent Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This exciting role involves a high level of responsibility and offers the opportunity for personal growth and career advancement. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving industrial processes and designs to maintain efficiency and reduce costs. They will also be expected to ensure that our business practices comply with safety regulations and standards. Responsibilities:
  • 1. Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start-up and certification.
  • 2. Assess processes for their relevance, and assess the adequacy of engineering equipment.
  • 3. Review and improve on existing systems, making use of process improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen.
  • 4. Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to ensure the safety of the workforce.
  • 5. Design, run, test, and upgrade systems and processes.
  • 6. Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
  • 7. Perform process simulations and troubleshooting.
  • 8. Provide process documentation and operating instructions.
  • 9. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the company's goals and objectives are met.
Qualifications:
  • 1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
  • 3. Proven experience in manufacturing safety and risk assessments.
  • 4. Proficient in Process Optimization, Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen principles.
  • 5. Excellent technical skills, including proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • 6. Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
  • 7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • 8. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • 9. Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • 10. A proactive approach, with the ability to anticipate potential problems before they occur.
  • 11. A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements.
