Job summary

BizLink Technology in Fremont, CA is seeking an Assistant Process Engineer to review specs, support production, and drive process improvements on the factory floor. You will coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing teams, create procedures, and lead operator training while ensuring strict documentation and quality controls are followed on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IE or Electrical Engineering is required or higher.
• 3-5 years experience of cable assembly and wire harness manufacturing is desired (Intermediate level).
• Extensive knowledge about interconnect technologies and products.

Responsibilities

• Review customer specs, prints and processing requirements and report issues to PE/PM.
• Search components specs and process requirements from suppliers.
• Create SOP/BP and other instructions for Fremont production; document redlines and maintain records.
• Review labor time at each process step and propose process improvements.
• Provide on-site support for production lines.
• Create SRD (Supplier requested deviations) when needed.
• Design and support fixtures for production.
• Coordinate with China manufacturing processes; final say in document interpretation.
• Lead Assistant Process Engineer and train operators on new or high-end equipment; order and manage equipment and tools as needed.
• Handle additional projects/roles/responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements
