Job summary

BMRS LLC in Concord, NC seeks a Process Control Engineer to document and optimize manufacturing processes and workflows. You will work with stakeholders to design tooling and processes, ensure proper use of equipment, and support ISO9001/AS9100 compliance.

The role requires a BS in engineering, experience with quality systems, and familiarity with SolidWorks. Travel is minimal; reports to the Director of Engineering.

Qualifications

  • BS Engineering degree in related field.
  • Experience maintaining and/or implementing quality management systems.
  • Experience with 3D CAD System (SolidWorks preferred).
  • Experience in ISO9001 and/or AS9100D preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Documents manufacturing processes and workflows.
  • Observes, analyzes, and optimizes manufacturing processes and workflows to improve output and reduce costs.
  • Performs risk assessments related to manufacturing.
  • Maintains records of equipment maintenance.
  • Ensures and advises on correct application of processes and equipment.
  • Develops and implements manufacturing processes with stakeholders.
  • Carries out design of new tooling, equipment, processes, and products.
  • Supports and maintains a quality management system compliant with ISO9001/AS9100.
  • Maintains compliance with government agencies and customer requirements (ITAR, OSHA, calibration).
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Process Control Engineer Job Description (Level E5)

Our lightweight range of hose satisfies virtually every racing application, and our fittings are designed for safety, reliability, and optimum weight saving. We’re located in Concord, NC.

Job Description:

The Process Engineer is responsible for documenting and optimizing current and future manufacturing processes and workflow.

Duties:

  • Documents manufacturing processes and workflows.
  • Observes, analyzes, and optimizes manufacturing processes and workflows to improve product output and reduce costs.
  • Performs risk assessments related to manufacturing.
  • Maintains records of equipment maintenance.
  • Ensures and advises on the correct application and use of processes and equipment.
  • Develops and implements with stakeholders manufacturing processes.
  • Carries out design of new tooling, equipment, processes, and products.
  • Is proficient in SolidWorks and other computer work associated with all functions.
  • Supports and maintains a robust quality management system that is compliant with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100.
  • Maintains compliance with applicable government agencies and customer requirements. (ITAR, OSHA, Equipment preventative maintenance and calibration etc.)
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Familiar with common process engineering concepts.
  • Be proficient at assembling and manufacturing all products.
  • Detail-oriented and consistent.
  • Works well as a productive member of a team, or alone, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.

Education and Experience:

  • BS Engineering degree in related field.
  • Experience maintaining and/or implementing quality management systems.
  • Experience with 3D CAD System (SolidWorks preferred).
  • Experience in ISO9001 and/or AS9100D preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time.
  • Must have manual dexterity to assemble products as directed.
  • Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.

Hours/Pay/Benefits

  • Monday – Friday; 8 am to 5 pm
