Job summary

All Flex Solutions in Minnesota seeks a Process Engineer I to ensure adherence to Process Engineering Standards in development, documentation, and production of all products. You will understand circuit assembly and design variables affecting quality and report to the Process Engineering Manager.

The role involves handling process ownership, root-cause analysis, and creating SOPs, control plans, and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s of Science degree in engineering (manufacturing, mechanical, chemical, electrical, or industrial) or similar studies.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Experienced with Minitab.
• Experience with SPC, Lean Manufacturing implementation, Theory of Constraints or Cell Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Own and back-up a limited number of processes.
• Support Operations with process, equipment, instruction, material, and part number challenges.
• Own daily root cause analysis on failures, and corrective and preventative actions.
• Fully document Standard Operating Procedures, Control Plans, Risk Mitigations, Environmental Health & Safety Requirements.
• Write assembly instructions for part numbers as needed.
• Participate in cross-functional improvements.
• Own small projects.
• Support audits and customer visits.
• Maintain and improve process controls and process capability.
• Corroborate with and travel to other AFS factories, to grow knowledge.
• Provide occasional evening and weekend phone support.
• Other duties as assigned.

We offer a competitive base salary in the $80,000 to $100,000 range, based on experience and qualifications, along with annual bonus and profit-sharing opportunities tied to performance.
