Job description

Process Engineer

iBUILT is searching for an experienced Process Engineer who can analyze process methods and find efficient alternatives. The Process Engineer will be responsible for delivering regular recommendations on how to maintain staff levels, improve productivity and lower costs, while meeting all of the quality standards set forth by the company and government regulations. The successful candidate will work side‑by‑side with the management staff to discover inefficiencies in the processes and then determine the best ways to bring our methods in line with our targets.

Essential Job Functions
  • Develop, document and implement Standard Work Instructions to ensure product quality and process timeliness.
  • Ensure processes comply with safety, quality and productivity requirements.
  • Analyze workflows within and across all departments to determine improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze budgets and schedules to determine savings opportunities.
  • Assist or drive improvement opportunities.
  • Perform process studies, e.g., time studies, spaghetti diagrams, etc.
  • Modify standard work instructions to reflect process improvements.
  • Perform process simulations and troubleshoot issues.
  • Report as required on Safety, Quality and Productivity to Management (KPIs).
