Job summary

IFF Health & Biosciences is seeking a results-driven Process Engineer for our Beloit, USA facility. The role focuses on providing technical support for biological process manufacturing, scale-up from R&D, and designing new technologies onsite.

You will join cross-functional teams to improve processes, equipment, and methods, driving cost savings and reliability in a fully onsite day shift environment.

IFF Health & Biosciences is looking for a results-driven, motivated process engineer who will provide technical support for a biological process manufacturing facility which includes new products, optimizing existing process, and designing new technologies.

As a Process Engineer based in the Beloit, USA facility you will be part of a team responsible for developing and improving biological processes. You will design, integrate, and improve manufacturing systems or related processes. May work with commercial or industrial designers to refine product designs to increase producibility and decrease costs. This position is fully onsite day shift.

Your responsibilities include developing and designing new technologies, scale-up of new products from R&D, capital project support and equipment design. The successful candidate will be an active participant in cross-functional project teams, global supply initiatives, and continuous improvement teams.

Where You'll Make a Difference

• Implement strategic technology initiatives focusing on cost and capacity savings
• Facilitate new product and technology introductions to the plant, interfacing with global teams including R&D
• Work with capital teams focusing on biological process design, including sterile operation and sanitary design for expansion and site capital projects
• Drive technical improvements for processes by monitoring and managing critical process performance, and improving reliability
• Design and develop operations, equipment, process, and methods
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives

What Makes You the Right Fi t

• BS in Biochemical or Chemical Engineering or related scientific field
• Knowledge of biological processes manufacturing processes required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work virtually and connect with engineers globally
• Strong team player
• Self-starter with good organizational skills
