Job summary

IFF Health & Biosciences is seeking a results-driven Process Engineer for its Beloit, Wisconsin facility. You will provide technical support for biological manufacturing, drive scale‑up, and develop new technologies to improve producibility and reduce costs.

The role is onsite with cross‑functional teamwork, global interface with R&D and capital teams, and a focus on continuous improvement in a dynamic bioprocess environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Biochemical or Chemical Engineering or related scientific field.
• Knowledge of biological processes manufacturing processes required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work virtually and connect with engineers globally.
• Strong team player.
• Self-starter with good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for a biological process manufacturing facility including new products and optimization of existing processes.
• Design, integrate and improve manufacturing systems or related processes.

IFF Health & Biosciences is looking for a results-driven, motivated process engineer who will provide technical support for a biological process manufacturing facility which includes new products, optimizing existing process, and designing new technologies. As a Process Engineer based in the Beloit, USA facility you will be part of a team responsible for developing and improving biological processes. You will design, integrate, and improve manufacturing systems or related processes. May work with commercial or industrial designers to refine product designs to increase producibility and decrease costs. This position is fully onsite day shift. Your responsibilities include developing and designing new technologies, scale‑up of new products from R&D, capital project support and equipment design. The successful candidate will be an active participant in cross‑functional project teams, global supply initiatives, and continuous improvement teams.

Where You’ll Make a Difference

Implement strategic technology initiatives focusing on cost and capacity savings

Facilitate new product and technology introductions to the plant, interfacing with global teams including R&D

Work with capital teams focusing on biological process design, including sterile operation and sanitary design for expansion and site capital projects

Drive technical improvements for processes by monitoring and managing critical process performance, and improving reliability

Design and develop operations, equipment, process, and methods

Implement continuous improvement initiatives
