Your background should include advanced degrees in biochemistry or related fields and hands-on experience in protein purification within GMP settings. Collaboration with PD, Manufacturing, QA, and Regulatory teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in biochemistry, chemical engineering, biophysics, biology or related discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of process development or protein purification experience.
• 4+ years of experience developing protein purification processes.
• Up to 5 years of GMP experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop new or improved protein purification processes.
• Design, execute, and analyze studies with direction and guidance from management.
• Stay current on developments in the field.
• Make recommendations to management based on data analyses to meet project goals.
• Collaborate with PD, Manufacturing, RA, Quality and other teams as appropriate.
• Demonstrate strong technical expertise and provide solutions for process improvement.
• Communicate results effectively in written and verbal form.
• Apply statistical analysis to interpret data.
