Job summary

Renesas is seeking a Process Development Engineer in Palm Bay to drive the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for high-quality semiconductor devices. You will work with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and continuously improve processes aligned with strategic goals and customer expectations.

You will operate and maintain test equipment, manage wafer inventory, and perform advanced measurements, including transient tests and bond diagrams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in analog circuits and semiconductor device characterization.
• Experience in semiconductor layout using Cadence Virtuoso or LEdit, or willing to learn.
• Familiarity with Unix systems and a broad range of electronic lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain test equipment including probers and analyzers.
• Handle wafer inventory and manage test boards and bond diagrams.
• Perform measurements on package parts and conduct transient measurements (Gate charge, Reverse recovery).
• Design and order test boards and support automation/instrument control.
