Job summary

Boston Scientific invites students to join a Process Development Co-op in Maple Grove, MN, with a hybrid work model requiring four days in the office each week. You will partner with R&D and Operations to advance manufacturing processes for next‑generation medical devices while developing hands-on skills.

Candidates must be pursuing an engineering degree (Biomedical/Chemical/Materials) with an expected graduation Fall 2028–Spring 2030 and be eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

  • Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Engineering.
  • Must graduate between Fall 2028 and Spring 2030.
  • 8-month co-op assignment with January–August 2027 or May–December 2027 start windows.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
  • Reliable transportation to the Maple Grove, MN location.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the integrity and content of Process Plans for materials and task sequencing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine manufacturing processes.
  • Design, fabricate and test prototype devices addressing clinical feedback.
  • Conduct process characterization experiments and process validation for manufacturing.
  • Investigate and recommend new technology to create medical devices.
