Job Description

A Process Design Consultant on the Global Operations Process Ownership & OpEx team will act as a Process Engineer supporting Operations organizations. This role is responsible for enabling process excellence, mitigating risk, and driving continuous improvement across Global Operations.

Key Accountabilities
  • Enable Process Owners & Partners: Deliver training, coaching, and routines to equip Process Owners with tools and knowledge to succeed.
  • Mitigate Risk: Promote continuous improvement and simplification; ensure processes are properly scoped and include effective risk indicators.
  • Provide Oversight: Ensure processes are documented, mapped, and compliant with enterprise standards.
  • Drive Process Maturity: Offer thought leadership and end-to-end process expertise to deliver transformative results.
  • Facilitate Solutions: Address issues and risks, optimize efficiency, reduce variability, and improve controls and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with Business Partners: Gather insights to design and implement solutions for critical challenges and Enterprise / GO deliverables
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to apply process engineering best practices and leverage AI/LLMs to establish and implement a model for continuous improvement
  • Leverage Analytics: Use data and critical thinking to solve complex problems and define business case benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Enables Process Owners: Develop & deploy training, coaching and routines to engage Process Owners and equip them with the tools, knowledge, and capabilities to succeed in role and achieve their goals.
  • Mitigate Risk Across Global Operations Processes: Establish a culture of continuous improvement and simplification across Global Operations, and ensure processes are appropriately scoped and have effective "smoke detectors" for mitigating risk.
  • Provides Process Oversight & Support: Ensure processes are fully documented, mapped and compliant with enterprise policy standards.
  • Drive Process Maturity: Provide thought leadership, customer focus, and end-to-end business process expertise to deliver transformative results.
  • Lead Operational Excellence: Serve as point-person for driving Operational Excellence by implementing enterprise deliverables and by achieving the "gold standard" for process management.
  • Implements moderately complex solutions to address issues and risks, optimize efficiency, reduce variability, and improve controls, quality, and sustainability
  • Works directly with Line of Business partners to gather information needed to identify and implement solutions that resolve critical business challenges and opportunities
  • Establishes and implements a model for continuous process improvement by applying process engineering best practices and delivering reusable technology solutions
  • Leverages analytics and critical thinking to solve complex business problems and translate issues into structured design oriented solutions with clearly defined business case benefits

Desired Skills
  • Global Ops Process Management Certification or Six Sigma Green / Black / Master Black Belt (or equivalent)
  • Operations background / knowledge of the Single Process Inventory
  • Risk management expertise and familiarity with enhancing the process control environment
  • Excellent project and program management skills with the ability to organize and simplify complex work activities.
