You will establish manufacturing processes, evaluate design options, and stay current with new technologies. Strong team collaboration across a matrixed organization is required, with a focus on delivering compliant, reliable processes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years manufacturing experience.
  • Experience designing and testing medical devices required.
  • Experience developing manufacturing processes and technologies and designing for manufacturability required.
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communications across levels in the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes processes based on product specifications.
  • Evaluates process and design alternatives based on design for manufacturability principles.
  • Understands Cost of Goods Sold concepts.
  • Manages program compliance with Quality Control requirements (Design Control, Process validation).
  • Understands IP issues relative to developed processes.
  • Maintains knowledge of new manufacturing and design technologies.
  • Supports Quality Management Systems, Environmental Management Systems, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintains communications with employees, customers, contractors and vendors.
