Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field required.
• 2+ years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience designing and testing medical devices required.
• Experience developing manufacturing processes and technologies considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establishes processes based on product specifications.
• Evaluates process and design alternatives based on design-for-manufacturability principles.
• Understands Cost of Goods Sold concepts.
• Ensures compliance with Quality Control requirements (Design Control, Process Validation).
• Addresses IP issues related to developed processes.
• Keeps abreast of new manufacturing/design technologies.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
• Supports QMS and EMS initiatives and other regulatory programs.
