Job summary
Marathon Petroleum is seeking a Process Control Manager for the Martinez Renewable Fuels Facility to lead a team responsible for process automation, control systems, and optimization. You will drive technical execution, support safe and reliable operations, and foster the professional growth of engineers and technicians.
The role requires strong leadership, extensive experience in process control, and collaboration across departments to align priorities and resources for turnarounds and ongoing
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree required.
- Five (5) years or more relevant experience.
- Valid Driver's License is required upon hire.
- Must be able to obtain a TWIC Card.
Responsibilities
- Plans, directs activities of engineers and technicians to meet process control, advanced control optimization, and safety system needs.
- Provides technical leadership during normal, upset, and emergency refinery operations including turnarounds and startups.
- Ensures adherence to process control policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversees controller design, installation activities, and health/performance of regulatory and advanced process controls.
