Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking a Process Control Site Leader to grow the process control capability at the Brunswick Cellulose Mill in Georgia. The candidate will lead a team, partner with mill personnel, and drive a comprehensive controls strategy across multiple projects while ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

8+ years’ experience with process control systems, including PLC & DCS platforms.
3+ years’ demonstrated success leading process control staff in a manufacturing environment.
Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Accountable for mill control systems and leadership of the Process Control Team.
Develop the capability of individual members of the Process Control Team.
Build partnerships with mill personnel to identify opportunities and solve problems.
Lead the development, planning, and execution of controls strategy for simultaneous projects and support activities.
Accountable for execution of controls projects and initiatives including design, testing, documentation, vendor/contractor management, procurement, installation and start-up.
