Dow is hiring a Production Equipment Operator for its Alberta Operations in Fort Saskatchewan, Canada. You will monitor and operate process equipment across hydrocarbons, polyethylene, and utilities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and environmental standards.

Initial training lasts about three years on day shift, then a 12-hour rotating schedule once the plant is operational. Travel to other facilities may be required for training, with opportunities to advance toward certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Progress toward ABSA 4th Class certification or higher.
• Minimum age of 18 with a valid Canadian driver's license.
• Physically able to respond to emergencies and work in confined spaces, varying heights, and fully encapsulated PPE.

Responsabilités

• Operate and monitor process equipment to ensure plant performance meets safety, efficiency, and environmental standards.
• Conduct field checks and adjust controls to optimize operations.
• Prepare equipment for maintenance, isolating systems as needed.
• Follow Dow's Life Critical Standards and Operating Discipline policies.
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment, demonstrating leadership, initiative, and strong organizational skills.
