As an intern, you will gain hands‑on experience with vision systems, RFID tagging, X-ray/gauge interfaces, and data management while collaborating with engineering and operations teams. This program leads to potential full‑time opportunities.

Qualifications

Enrollment in a BS program in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical degree; completion of sophomore year by Summer 2027.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.

Responsibilities

Develop software across languages and hardware platforms for automation systems.
Maintain hardware and software; troubleshoot and resolve issues impacting production or system reliability.
Modify automation to adapt to new products and processes.
Model mill processes in chemical, metallurgical, and mechanical contexts.
Administer operating systems and relational databases on workstations and servers.
Work with measurement systems like vision, RFID/barcodes, X-ray gauges; support data collection and quality control.
Collaborate with production, vendors, R&D, and other departments; propose system/process improvements.
