Job summary

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program in a related technical field.
• Completion of sophomore year by Summer 2027.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Interest in the steel industry and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Software development across languages and hardware platforms.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of automation systems.
• Modifications to automation to support new products and processes.
• Process modeling for mill operations (chemical, metallurgical, mechanical).
• Coordinate with Production, R&D and other staff departments.
