Job summary

DuBois Chemicals is seeking a Process Control Engineer to optimize process design, improve safety, and maintain automated control systems across the production network. You will lead capital projects and collaborate with plant leadership to enhance efficiency and profitability.

The role requires hands-on PLC/DCS programming, data-driven decision making, and occasional travel to support other locations. A chemical manufacturing background and strong safety awareness are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, CS, or related) or 5 years related experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite

Responsibilities

• Identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements to reduce costs and waste
• Plan, design, and execute capital projects with input from operations floor
• Use data-driven decision-making to achieve production targets
• Monitor process data and propose continuous improvement solutions
• Conduct root cause analyses for interruptions and failures
• Develop ROI calculations to set project priorities
