Job summary

DuBois Chemicals is seeking an Automation and Controls Engineer to lead programming and maintenance of automated systems at the Sharonville facility, with about 15% travel to support other sites. You will help standardize system architecture and ensure safety compliance across multiple plants.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and integration of digital manufacturing software to improve plant efficiency. A strong background in Rockwell/PlantPAx is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining automated control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret Industrial diagrams and schematics.
• Experience with Rockwell FactoryTalk and/or PlantPAx strongly preferred.
• Excellent organizational and collaborative skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Controls related to manufacturing industry strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and maintain technical documentation including wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Write and modify PLC/DCS programs and troubleshoot automation systems.
• Collaborate with production, quality, safety, and maintenance to implement controls.
• Provide remote support and maintain plantwide automation standards across sites.
