Job summary

DuBois Chemicals, Inc. seeks an Automation and Controls Engineer to join the Manufacturing Engineering Team at the Sharonville facility. You will program, maintain, and standardize automated control systems to improve efficiency and safety, with about 15% travel to support other sites.

Responsibilities include developing wiring diagrams, PLC/DCS programming, integrating PlantPAx/SCADA, and ensuring NFPA 70E and OSHA compliance while collaborating with production, quality, and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Experience programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining automated control systems.
• Ability to read industrial diagrams and schematics.
• Knowledge of Rockwell FactoryTalk and/or PlantPAx preferred.

Responsibilities

• Program and maintain automated control systems for efficient operations.
• Create standardization guides for hardware and software architecture.
• Integrate safety systems (interlocks, e-stops) and ensure compliance with NFPA 70E and OSHA.
• Develop and test PLC/DCS programs; optimize HMI layouts with production.
• Provide remote support for satellite facilities and assist with change management.
