Job summary

Equipment & Controls, Inc. invites motivated engineering students to join the Remote Automated Solutions internship in Lawrence, PA.

You will work with experienced engineers and technicians to gain hands-on experience in system design, implementation, and troubleshooting of RTUs, PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems. You will collaborate with internal teams and Emerson partners, with occasional travel across Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in engineering.

Responsibilities

• Support process control and automation activities for natural gas production.
• Assist with design, implementation and troubleshooting under supervision.
• Provide technical support to the Remote Automated Solutions unit.
• Participate in site assessments and assist with mechanical, electrical, and software tasks.
• Assist with installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of RTUs and instrumentation.
• Support cross-functional collaboration with Emerson partners and customers.
