Job summary

Equipment & Controls, Inc. is seeking an engineer to support natural gas production in the Marcellus and Utica regions. You will provide process control design, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting across RTUs, PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems, collaborating with internal teams and Emerson partners.<\/p>

The role requires travel across Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia, with a 4-year engineering degree and 2+ years of experience in automation. Competitive salary and benefits offered.<\/p>

Qualifications

• Requires a 4-year engineering degree.
• 2+ years in process control/automation experience.
• Experience with RTUs and instrumentation is a plus.
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities.
• Ability to work with Account Managers and other units.

Responsibilities

• Provide process control and automation expertise for Marcellus/Uti​ca gas production.
• Understand design to perform implementation and troubleshooting.
• Support technical sales within the RAS unit.
• Design site assessments, mechanical/electrical/software aspects.
• Handle RTU installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Implement control schemes across RTUs, PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, networks.
• Travel within PA, OH, WV; may require overnight travel.
