Job Summary

This position provides comprehensive support for all operational control technologies used in plant process controls.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Management reserves the right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities at any time.

• Install electrical hardware or software and wire selected devices in accordance with local and state codes.
• Perform electrical start-ups for new, used, or modified equipment and update operating instructions accordingly.
• Assist in designing layouts and troubleshooting electrical components.
• Program and install PLCs and develop ladder logic diagrams.
• Procure and supervise subcontractors for electrical construction tasks.
• Develop and maintain up-to-date electrical schematics and drawings.
• Support current control technologies and address service issues as needed.
• Maintain an organized archive system for all programming and control documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Control and Automation.
• Experience working in industrial environments.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
• Experience with Rockwell Automation PLC/SCADA and PlantPax systems.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Leadership qualities with the ability to direct personnel.
• Ability to work independently and make timely, accurate decisions.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Physical Demands

• Frequent walking, standing, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and crouching.
• Ability to push, pull, move, or lift up to 100 lbs.
• Regular use of hands and arms for reaching.

Work Environment

Work is conducted in plant environments with exposure to high heat and cold, as well as in office settings. Travel up to 40% may be required, including potential weekend and holiday work.

Preferred Locations: Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, Missouri, or Kansas.
