How You Will Contribute:

As a Module Lead Engineer in the Routing Software Control Plane team, you will design, develop, and deliver high-quality software components for Ciena's routing platforms. This role requires expertise in routing protocols, software development, and the ability to drive technical solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Must-Have Software Development Skills:

• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for clean, efficient, and documented code.
• Experience developing on Linux environments.
• Ability to debug and resolve complex software issues.
• Participation in the full software development lifecycle.

Routing Protocol Expertise:

• Knowledge of IGPs like ISIS and OSPF.
• Understanding of LDP, Segment Routing, and PseudoWire technologies.
• Comprehension of routing protocol interactions within the control plane.
• Focus on scalable, robust, and high-availability solutions.
