Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Optimize process controls with adjustment and calibration procedures.
  • Identify and recommend electrical and network hardware, firmware, and software for process control.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve installation and control device questions.
  • Analyze frequent electrical breakdowns and propose corrective actions to improve productivity and quality.
  • Coordinate electrical, electronic, and process-control installations and modifications of production equipment.
  • Maintain and update electrical technical documentation reflecting modifications.

Process Control Engineer

Join our team at PMI as a Process Control Engineer and help drive the performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will lead electrical, electronic, process control, and connectivity initiatives across the production floor, ensuring equipment is maintained, upgraded, and optimized to meet quality, safety, and operational standards. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will identify opportunities for improvement, implement innovative solutions, and support the efficient operation of critical manufacturing systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer who is passionate about automation, problem-solving, and delivering impactful results in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimize process controls by establishing effective adjustment and calibration procedures.
  • Identify and recommend electrical and network hardware, firmware, and software that meetprocess controlrequirements.
  • Collaboratewith suppliers to resolve technical questions regardinginstallationsand control devices.
  • Analyze frequent electrical breakdowns, waste, and product inconsistencies, and propose corrective actions to improveproductivityandquality.
  • Coordinateelectrical, electronic, andprocess control-relatedinstallationsand modifications ofproduction equipment.
  • Maintain and update electricaltechnical documentationto reflect modifications or improvements.
  • Support qualification andvalidation activities, includingComputer System Validationfollowing changes or upgrades.
  • Contribute to vulnerability management by determining the applicability of security patches, applying patches, or coordinating vendor support when needed.
  • Actively participate incontinuous improvementinitiatives.
  • Train and assist users on operational technology (OT) systems.
  • Provide ongoingtechnical supportto production teams to ensure optimal operation ofprocess controlsystems.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronicspreferred).
  • 3 years ofexperience in manufacturingfacilities or a related environment.
  • Strong written and verbalcommunication skillsinEnglish.
  • Experience with Allen Bradley, Rockwell, and/or Seimens hardware
Annual Base Salary: $96,800 - $121,000
