Job summary

Adesis Inc., a premier contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), is seeking a Manufacturing Process Chemist to support development, optimization and tech transfer of commercial compounds. You will operate and clean lab equipment and execute established protocols with guidance from chemists and senior staff.

The role emphasizes safe, reproducible processes, documentation of batch records and development reports, and collaboration within a fast-paced team in a cutting-edge lab

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Chemistry or related field required.
• 2–5 years’ experience in technical production, R&D, and/or new product development experience required.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Working knowledge of ISO-9001, cGMP, and/or ICH Q7 in pharma or chemical regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust processes for the target compounds to ensure safe and reproducible processes.
• Develop alternate synthetic routes to target molecules and modify reactants and/or equipment as required.
• Solve complex chemical problems which may arise during process development, optimization or scale up of processes.
• Understand the concepts of reaction kinetics, design of experiments, solubility and crystallization, mass transfer, heat transfer and process safety to ensure critical process parameters are identified.
• Accountable for documentation to ensure the consistent manufacture of products; including batch records, production instructions, and development / qualification reports.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by Management.
