Job summary

State of Oklahoma is seeking a Process Auditor to join the Comptroller Team. The role conducts entry- to mid-level accounting work, performs operational reviews and process audits to ensure compliance with laws and financial standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, public or governmental administration, or related field.
• Governmental accounting experience preferred and CPO certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data for internal audits and improve internal controls for financial compliance.
• Review division purchase orders, change orders, vouchers, invoices for funding and costs.
• Maintain financial data in electronic case management systems and respond to inquiries.
• Provide customer service and guidance to internal/external customers; report monthly/quarterly financials.
• Reconcile expenditures, revenue, and assets; ensure accuracy per state statutes.
