Job summary

The 185 CORPORATION COMMISSION is seeking a Process Auditor to perform entry-to-mid-level accounting work within the Comptroller Team under division supervision. You will analyze financial data, review vouchers, encumbrances, and cost approvals to ensure compliance with statutes and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Ability to analyze financial data and ensure internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes data for internal audits and works with staff to improve controls and compliance.
• Reviews, analyzes, and approves division purchase orders and change orders; oversees funding and encumbrances.
• Processes division vouchers, invoices, and other financial documents for payment; validates costs per statutes and procedures.
• Maintains electronic case data in the division's systems for reference and retrieval; handles routine admin updates.
• Provides customer service and guidance to internal and external customers; audits expenditures in PeopleSoft and reports.
