Job summary

Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials is seeking a Process Attendant for our Newberry, FL plant. You will support plant operations by performing equipment inspections, completing inspection sheets, routine cleaning, and operating heavy equipment.

This role requires a minimum of one year of industrial experience, forklift operation, and the ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts. You will coordinate with the Control Room Operator to resolve issues and take accurate silo measurements.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1–year of industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing experience.
• Experience operating mobile equipment (e.g., forklifts).
• Good organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work rotating 12-hour shifts

Responsibilities

• Perform daily equipment inspections, complete inspection sheets, and report or correct issues.
• Operate heavy mobile equipment (loaders, skid steers, forklifts).
• Communicate with the Control Room Operator to help resolve plant issues.
• Taking accurate and reliable silo measurements as required.
• Cleaning of the preheater in a safe manner when required. This involves working in extreme temperatures, wearing heavy insulated clothing and heavy lifting of water blaster.
